Adobe RoboHelp Server is a web feedback analytics tool and a robust way to manage access to hosted content. The new Adobe RoboHelp Server 10 comes with even more powerful features to make your Help content and knowledgebase more effective and useful.
Host Responsive HTML5 output on RoboHelp Server
With RoboHelp Server 10, you can now publish Responsive HTML5 output from RoboHelp (2015 release Update 3) and FrameMaker (2015 release Update 3) on the server and perform tracking, reporting, and merging for your Help content. The primary advantage of Responsive HTML5 output is that it renders seamlessly on all screen sizes (desktops, tablets, and phones).
Personalized dynamic content helps finding relevant content faster. Also, content reporting and performance tracking for Help becomes much easier and simplified.
Track better using new and updated reports
RoboHelp Server 10 brings in a new report – Frequently Used Dynamic Filters. This report helps you gauge the utility of the dynamic filters that you have created for your Help content. Using this report, you can better optimize the value of your Help content.
This new release also brings enhancements in other reports allowing you to collect information about the latest browsers and operating systems used to access your content. In addition, you can also get reports for topic, search, and page visits for Responsive HTML5 content.
Search better, search right
Enhanced server-side search indexing is provided in RoboHelp Server 10. In RoboHelp Server Web Administrator, check the option for merging same type of projects in the Projects tab. Once you have merged projects, the search is performed on all merged projects instead of a single project. Also, the search is now much faster and more intuitive.
Benefit from other key technical enhancements
Here are some of the key technical updates that RoboHelp Server 10 comes with:
- Support for Apache Derby 10.7.1 as the default database.
- Support for JDBC connectivity and LDAP sub-container lookup.
- Easy data migration from RoboHelp Server 9.

Find out why the industry experts are all excited
about the latest release of RoboHelp Server.
“The new slogan for Adobe FrameMaker should be
‘It pays for itself!’ I help organizations improve the reach of
their tech comm and reduce cost and effort, and FrameMaker makes
big strides in both these areas. Adobe has enhanced the (already
great) Responsive HTML5 output, and now directly produces iOS
and Android apps with no additional software needed. The new
release of FrameMaker now reduces the cost of localization by
supporting RTL languages. Combined with a customizable Microsoft
Word import function, FrameMaker now reaches into entirely new
markets.”
— Matt Sullivan, Independent Certified Adobe Instructor
“There is a new, innovative way to increase
findability and personalize end-user content in the new release
of Adobe RoboHelp. Dynamic Content Filtering lets authors create
content categories (such as Roles, Locations, Products, etc.)
that allow the end user to ‘self-select’ the content they want
to locate. This personalized content is then delivered in
topics, as well as ‘on the fly’ from the Table of Contents,
Index and even the search results.”
— John
Daigle, Adobe Certified RoboHelp and Captivate Instructor,
Evergreen Online Learning, LLC
“In the new release of Adobe RoboHelp, the latest
HTML5 Responsive Layouts support Dynamic Filtering giving users
the option to filter the content and see just what is relevant
to them. Content Categories in WebHelp gave users the ability to
choose sub-sets that had been defined by the author. Dynamic
Filtering in HTML5 goes much further as the author can give more
options and the user gets to choose which ones they want. Also
the author can easily create an app in both iOS and Android
formats..”
