Adobe GoLive 9

ADOBE GOLIVE 9

Design Websites Intuitively

Adobe GoLive 9 software allows both code-savvy web professionals and noncoding graphic designers to create sophisticated, CSS-based content in an intuitive visual environment. Design graphics in other Adobe applications and bring them to the web with ease, using familiar tools and concepts. Work smoothly with native Adobe image formats or drag and drop existing content from Adobe InDesign® software. Then, publish to the web with easy-to-use site management tools similar to those found in Adobe Bridge.

Customer profiles:

Web designers and developers need an efficient way to create and maintain rich media sites, including extranets, content sites, and e-commerce platforms.
Print design professionals need to create their own portfolio sites and provide occasional web development for clients but may lack experience with coding.

Learn quickly with an easy-to-use interface
GoLive 9 offers new features to help make the web more accessible to designers who don’t have a background in HTML or other web technologies. Use a visual CSS layout window to create standards-compliant code that renders faithfully on the latest browsers. Select, edit, and create objects using familiar tools and processes. And automatically create CSS-based text styles using character and style settings similar to those in InDesign.

Work with other Adobe applications
GoLive 9 also offers close integration with other Adobe applications. Drag and drop content directly from InDesign, and GoLive automatically translates most existing character and paragraph styles into CSS. Maintain common color settings from other applications. You can even place native Adobe Photoshop,® Illustrator® and Adobe PDF files into GoLive as Smart Objects, which can be cropped and resized on-the-fly.

Easily manage sites
With GoLive 9 software you can quickly bring your ideas to the web. Experience native performance on both Intel® and PowerPC® based Macs and on Microsoft® Windows Vista™ systems. Manage design assets with a Site Window that works much like Adobe Bridge, allowing you to visually track and maintain links and files. You can even make changes to multiple pages on a site offline and then synchronize them to your web server, uploading only the files that have been modified since the last update.
