ThreatTrack Security Inc. – formerly the Security Business Unit of GFI Software –
has launched operations as an independent company dedicated to the analysis, detection and remediation of advanced malware threats. ThreatTrack Security enables organizations to identify and prevent Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs), targeted attacks and sophisticated malware designed to evade the traditional cyber - defenses deployed by enterprises, government agencies, and small and medium - sized businesses (SMBs) around the world.
ThreatTrack Security understands the challenges
businesses and organizations of all sizes face when it comes to securing their
networks. They know that cybercriminals don't care if you're a small business or
a FORTUNE 500 company. To them, you're a target, and businesses that fail to
defend their networks and PCs against today's increasingly sophisticated malware
threats have made themselves the best targets of all. |

Maintenance First
year Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) is included for all GFI products
(including for Add-on Licences). Renewal of the Software Maintenance Agreement
can be purchased in 1, 2, or 3 year terms. The start date of renewal SMA is the
date of the original licensing not the date of the Purchase Order.
A thirty (30) day grace period is given from the date of expiration of the
Software Maintenance Agreement. Customers with an expired Software Maintenance
Agreement may be charged a back Maintenance fee.
Software Maintenance Agreements (SMA)
Includes:
- Commercially available product versions
(e.g., versions 10, 11,etc.)
- Bug fixes, patches, “dot" releases (e.g.,
version 10.1, 10.2, etc.)
- Web chat
- Email support
- Phone support
- Electronic knowledge base and forums.
Product Version Upgrades:
A product Version Upgrade is required when a
customer wants a new version of the product and is not currently on SMA. There
is a 30 day grace period from date of Software Maintenance Agreement expiration
before a customer is required to do a Product Version Upgrade. If however, the
customer’s SMA has expired and there has been no new version of the product
released a customer does not have to do a Version Upgrade; rather they just need
to renew Software Maintenance Agreement from the date of expiration. |
