Netop Remote Control 11
 NetOp Remote Control tarjoaa täydellisen
etähallinnan yli LAN:in, Internetin ja PPP. Etähallinta antaa täydellisen pääsyn
kaikkiin järjestelmiin, palveluihin, rekistereihin, lokeihin yms. Tuote antaa
järjestelmävastaavalle tai helpdeskille hallinnan sekä saatavuuden useampaan
järjestelmään - riippumatta alla olevasta Infrastruktuurista.
NetOp Remote Control käytetään enimmäkseen jotta
etäältä voidaan hallinnoida yrityksen tietoverkkoa, kauko-ohjata sovellukset
sekä tuen työkaluna. Pohjalla on testattua tekniikkaa sekä helppokäyttöisen
rajaliittymä, joka on yhteensopiva useampien käyttöjärjestelmien kanssa.

 Netop Remote
Control version 11 is a major release and
requires a new license key to upgrade. Customers enrolled in Netop's
Advantage support plan can upgrade at no additional cost. Version 11
includes the following updates:
- A new "Tunnel" function that
creates a secure connection between the Guest and Host modules and
allows application ports to be redirected from the Host to the Guest
through the Tunnel. This allows the Guest to run local applications
while interacting with the connected Host and without having to remote
control the Host machine. The Tunnel is ideally suited for, but not
limited to, environments where a traditional desktop is either not used
or available.
- Guest and Host modules are now
supported on OpenSUSE 11.4 and 12.1, including both 32 and 64-bit
editions.
- When using the Security Server
with Windows authentication, the Guest module is now able to connect to
a Host module running on Linux or Mac operating systems.
- The Netop Security Server has
been extended to offer authentication against RADIUS environments.
- The Guest module
