SigmaStats built in Advisor Wizard helps you with
your statistical analysis. All you have to do is to answer a few questions about
your data and your research project. SigmaStat suggests the appropriate
statistical test, and checks your data against the test’s underlying
assumptions. After you run the test, you receive a report in plain English,
interpreting the results. You can thereafter, with a click of a mouse, visualize
your data in one of several pre-selected formats. You can also take advantage of
SigmaStat’s integration with SigmaPlot and edit your graphs in SigmaPlot.
SigmaStat includes all the statistical tests most frequently used to analyze
scientific research. A few examples are: regression analysis,
analysis-of-variance analysis (ANOVA), parametric and non-parametric tests,
compare effects among groups (including before-and-after or repeated measures
studies), survival analysis, analyze rates and proportions, correlations,
calculate power and sample size, and add some.
