Q: What is the need
for an actual CorelDRAW 2019 Graphics Suite when the
customer would like to order only CorelDRAW.app
Enterprise licenses?
A:
CorelDRAW.app is a web app that is available as a
companion to CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2019 (and
Technical Suite 2019) only. You cannot license
CorelDRAW.app without having CDGS licensed in the
company!
The
CorelDRAW.app Business offering (that we refer to as
”CorelDRAW.app Enterprise”) is tied to CDGS Enterprise
licenses being purchased by the customer.
You
can add CorelDRAW.app (Enterprise packages) to expand
beyond the team(s) of creators who are equipped with
CDGS desktop product through CDGS Enterprise license
seats.
But
you cannot license CorelDRAW.app only. The rationale
behind this is that we expect customers to have a (may
be small) team of creators who need the full power of
the desktop applications (i.e. those who license CDGS
today for their graphics authoring needs). Around these
creators there is a larger number of contributors who
have less demand for power graphics tools (as they are
not the ones creating the marketing collateral or any
other professional output communicating the customer’s
products), but are involved in the review/ approval
cycle and/ or need graphics/ illustration tools
occasionally for internal or other lower level visuals.
