Most people will have heard of our popular PDFCreator, which has been a well-known name for over 15 years. However, in the meantime we have added a few more brands and we would like to explain how these are related to each other.
PDFCreator was the first free PDF converter that was easy to install. Over time we added PDF Architect, our PDF editor, which we are developing in cooperation with a Canadian company. PDF Architect helps to get the most out of working with PDFs and complements PDFCreator perfectly. The most recent addition to our product program is PDFCreator Online, which lets you use our most popular PDF tools directly in a browser.
PDFforge, on the other hand, is the company behind our different products. The whole pdfforge team is based in Hamburg, Germany, and consists of a group of software developers, customer service agents, content creators and designers who all work closely together. We all enjoy huge freedom in the process of creating our products. Our goal is to make the lives of our customers as easy as possible. Electronic signatures and records are just as good as their paper equivalents. Therefore, they are subject to the same legal scrutiny and authenticity that applies to any written agreement.
