Take a huge sigh of relief, because Bluebeam is not your typical software company.
In short, Bluebeam Software makes smart, simple solutions for paperless workflows that leverage the PDF format. It all started way back in 1997, when we developed CAD to PDF creation technology for aerospace engineers. Now our award-winning PDF creation, markup and editing solutions are used by the world's top architecture, engineering and construction firms, as well as government agencies. We also have a strong following among tablet PC users, students and educators, accountants and even lawyers.
When it comes to developing innovative products, our philosophy is quite
simple. We don't just create "easy-to-use" software, we design ways that make
our software feel like second-nature. So, we're relentlessly working to mimic
the way you normally work with pen and paper. We also avoid complex jargon and "corporatey"
policies like the plague. In fact, we're confident you'll find Bluebeam to be a
breath of fresh air, and appreciate that our people do everything they can to
lend you a helping hand.
Speaking of Bluebeam employees, we're one big group of corporate misfits, and
proud of it! We refuse to be confined by preconceived notions of what PDF
software can and should do. We like to shake things up, tear 'em apart and make
them our own. Or, completely ignore what others have done and make our own path.
Our employees come from diverse technical and artistic backgrounds, and we've
even been known to convert Bluebeam users into Bluebeam employees.
If you like to work hard, make a real impact and have a good time in the
process, there just might be a place for you on our team.
Smart. Efficient. Powerful..

Bluebeam software is registered on a per workstation basis with a node-locked licence. Bluebeam offers discounts for volume purchases of 5 or more seats. These discounts are provided on a per transaction basis. When you include the Bluebeam Maintenance Program with your order you ensure that your employees have access to the most up-to-date features that Bluebeam offers plus additional support services.
The trial version from the download page is fully functional. However, it is limited to the 30-day trial period. The Registration screen will display toward the end of your trial showing how much time remains. Once the trial expires, you will not be able to create or save a modified file until you have purchased a license. When you purchase a license, a serial number and product key will be emailed to you that will unlock the software trial and allow for unlimited use.

Desktops and laptops: 1 GHz processor or equivalent (recommended, see discussion below)
Tablets: Intel i3 processor or equivalent
4 GB (32-bit Windows)
8 GB (64-bit Windows)
Up to 4 GB of available space may be required
Using Revu for working with typical office documents
When using Revu for general office applications, a standard, general class computer that meets the above requirements may be used.
Using Revu for working with large sets of engineering documents
When working with large drawing sets (for example, construction project bid sets) in which the PDFs may contain hundreds of large format drawings, it is recommended that workstations have adequate memory and processor resources. A recommended hardware configuration would be 64-bit Windows with an Intel i5 Dual Core or better processor, as well as at least 8 GB of RAM. Revu can run on systems with lower specifications; however, a workstation with these settings will provide the optimal performance.
Using Revu for OCR
When using the OCR functionality of Revu eXtreme, 64-bit Windows is highly recommended for best performance.
