Altova® MobileTogether® Server is the back-end hub for customers’ mobile apps and acts as a gateway between mobile users the your back-end data sources and infrastructure. In typical enterprise solutions it also provides user authentication; user, role, and device management; solution distribution; and all of the connectivity to in-house data sources, including sophisticated cache control options.

For AppStore app deployment scenarios, or if the customer's IT has already made the migration to the cloud, they can choose deploy MobileTogether Server into a private cloud infrastructure or host it in a public cloud environment, such as AWS or Azure.

NEW Altova® Work in Process (WIP) XBRL add-in for Excel

The Altova Work in Process (WIP) XBRL add-in for Excel for the surety industry allows construction contractors to enter work in process data directly in Excel, where they’re already comfortable working. In the background, the add-in saves the data in a valid XBRL instance document based on the WIP Taxonomy from XBRL.US for submission to surety companies.

Users simply install the add-in once, and then they can open the WIP template directly in Excel, with preset rows and columns, as well as Document Actions to guide them as they enter the data. Once data is entered, the user can click the Export XBRL button to save it in an XBRL instance document.

This allows contractors to get their data into XBRL easily, and enables more timely and efficient consumption by surety stakeholders by eliminating data validity errors and the need for re-keying.

The add-in also allows stakeholders to import data from existing WIP reports in XBRL format into Excel.

The Altova Work in Process (WIP) XBRL add-in for Excel is sold as an annual license and can be downloaded from the Altova web site for a free, 30-day trial.

Altova® European Banking Authority (EBA) XBRL Add-in for Excel

The European Banking Authority is a regulatory agency of the European Union, and as such has created the EBA XBRL Filing Rules, which define guidelines for the submission of XBRL instance documents by reporting entities.

To shield reporting companies from the complexity of XBRL tagging, the new Altova European Banking Authority (EBA) XBRL Add-in for Excel makes it easy for financial professionals at filing companies to generate XBRL instances compliant with EBA XBRL Filing Rules directly in an application where they’re already comfortable working: Excel.

After installing the European Banking Authority (EBA) XBRL add-in for Excel, a new EBA tab is available in the Excel ribbon. The actions available in the ribbon enable preparers of EBA reports to do any or all of the following:

Support and Maintenance Package

The Support and Maintenance Package (SMP) can be purchased for 25% of the product price for a one-year period or 40% of the product price for a two-year period (i.e., 20% per year). SMP is only offered with 30 days of an Altova software purchase. It includes:

  • Major upgrades released during the support period
  • Priority Technical Support provided via Web-based support form
  • Free updates to all maintenance releases or updates for the duration of the support period

The Support period begins on the day of the product purchase and extends for a period of 12 or 24 months, depending on the length of the SMP plan purchased.

Please note: Customers may elect to purchase SMP up to 30 days following their initial product purchase. However, if SMP is not included at the time of the product purchase, the partner or customer must contact Altova® Sales directly to add SMP.

All upgrades for customers without SMP will cost approximately 60% of the total product cost, so convince customers to buy SMP and save big!

  • Time restricted option - only available until the expiration date of the current SMP license
