Important points to remember:

The minimum
threshold for Sibelius 7 licences has been reduced to 5 users
(previously this was 10 users for Sibelius 6).

The Media Pack is
now for full licences AND upgrades.

The 5 packs that
previously existed have been discontinued.

Sibelius Student and
Sibelius First have not been upgraded yet and will continue to be
sold as Version 6 but Sibelius 7 can still export files in these
formats.

There is now one
Crossgrade SKU to encourage users of competing software, like
Finale, Encore, Mosaic and Notion, or users of Sibelius First and
Sibelius Student to upgrade to Sibelius 7.

Sibelius 7 does not
support Windows XP.

There will be no
grace period for recent Sibelius 6 purchases.

Every copy of
Sibelius 7 purchased comes with 90 days of complimented assisted
support, as well as a variety of annual support options. Students
are also entitled to 4 years of
FREE
complimentary upgrades when they purchase the Academic Version of
Sibelius 7, providing additional value for the lifetime of their
course.

There are now 2
products which have replaced the standard Academic copy for V6. One
is for Institutions and teachers and one is for students. The price
of these products is the same.
